I put this collection together in the early 1990s. It felt like I paid a lot for some of them back then, but I would never have built this collection at today's prices. Not really toy soldiers, but close in scale and too cool to ignore.

ReplyDeleteThis is a fab collection. I watched some Japanese Transformers shows with some buddies about a decade ago and Battle Beasts showing up blew our minds entirely.
They were "Beast Formers" all this time :)

ReplyDeleteDo you know if the illustrator Earl Norem (famous for his work with He-Man, Marvel comics work and Savage Sword of Conan covers) did the American package art for Battle Beasts? The art on top of the series two package seems like his work. Thanks!
