Love your army of the Dead Shaun, I guess they would make up most of the numbers in a Fantasy army. I really like the Amscan Skeletons but i found the material they are made from very frustrating, I found they bend into all sorts of positions and the Hot and Cold water treatment didn't seem to work on these unless i was doing it wrong? Also no glue seems to work well on them when i tried to convert some of them. I know all these figures and I noticed that there were no Plastoy or Papo skeletons, Is that because they are a bit to small Shaun? I look forward to what you come up with next.
I had the same experience with the Amscan skeletons. Leaving them in the boiling water for several minutes seemed to help, but not as much as I would have liked. I really came to appreciate the Toymajor unpainted figures during this project. They are firm but not brittle and they all stand up without needing to be worked on.
Also the Toy Major Skeletons are really nice figures and the staple of any Fantasy army, I would love to see Toy Major have a go at a bag of Orcs or Lizardmen, That would be Fantastic. Regards Darren
Nah I simply love the undead, unfortunately I'm not a billionaire, but I collect things here n there and often enjoy painting and placing my figurines in small Dioramas or in case of these fantasy themed figurines I often use them in D&D.

gosh how I WOULD LOVE to buy the whole army from you XD
ReplyDeleteBy any chance are you a Billionaire with poor impulse control and who does not understand the value of things? If so, we can talk.

DeleteRegardless of how much I wish this undead army was mine, I have a great deal of respect for your collection my friend.
