These figures were made as cheap competition to sets like Chap Mei's Wizards Magic and the Darkness Warriors. About the same three inch scale. These look cheap but still have their charm.
What year were these released? The banner in the second to last photo looks nearly identical to a Games Workshop Tomb Kings standard. The Tomb Kings army was first released in 2003, so I'm wondering who copied who.
This company copied Warhammer. This line is definitely post-2003, I can't remember exactly when I saw em in dollar stores but it was definitely post-2005. Another line distributed by Mountains China Co LTD, "Darkness Warriors", also made use of that Warhammer banner.
The Centaur is literally copied from Chap Mei's centaur. Wouldn't be surprised if more of the toyline stole things from elsewhere. (I feel like the dragon is copying some sort of old lead/pewter gaming miniature) I dig these, though. I acquired a full set of 2-packs two years ago, and earlier this year I basically built the entire archive for this toyline on Figurerealm.
Mine were Canadian so they were distributed by Canasia Toys, but other releases were distributed by Mountains China Co LTD, the same people who distributed some versions of Darkness Warriors.
These guys look very cool.
